Julie Cougar...

On Thursday, I Photographed the band, Julie Cougar. The shots were taken in Image Red Studio in Tamworth (the studio I always use and would recommend).
This was their first shoot as a band, and my first Studio band shoot (my others have been location). With this, they were a little unexperienced with the poses, as myself and Brian (the studio guy), had to try to help them with more looks than they were used to. It was an experience to shoot a four piece in the studio using only one light and a reflector light. At the beginning, it was a bit difficult to get the light so strongly on everybody, but got easier once I got the lighting sorted to how I wanted it.
For this shoot, the band specifically asked for promotional shots to go with their style of music. As they play as a band which do covers, they wanted photographs to show that they are a function band, so was a little different to how I would have photographed a rock/pop band)
Throughout the shoot, they got a little more comfortable which showed off greatly in the photos. I feel as though the photographs turned out great and represent the band greatly! They also did a great job for their first shoot!

Halloween Photoshoot...

On 31st October, I photographed a Photoshoot with the theme of Halloween. It was my first shoot of it's kind that I had done before.
We originally planned to do a location photoshoot, but as the weather did not hold up, we decided to do a Studio shoot. Again, we used Image Red Studios in Tamworth. This was the third shoot tat I had worked on with the MUA Kristy Bowyer from KLB Make-up Artistry ( www.facebook.com/KLBMakeupArtistry )
On my photoshoots, I let the Make-up Artistes have all the time they need to get the look perfect. The idea was that Kristy (MUA), was to be a model aswell (her second professional shoot with me), and brought along a male model, Haydn Turner. This was his first shoot, and on this day, he didn't have to do much, as he was the victim, and Kristy was the Vampire.
I feel that the make-up was amazing again on this shoot, and both models did great! There were a few outtakes from the shoot, as you can imagine with the different ideas we tried (some where Kristy was ontop of Haydn, were particularly embarrassing for both). But we had great fun shooting this Photo shoot. Plus, I got some great shots that I'm very proud to have for my portfolio!
Like I always say, I will continue to work with Kristy, as she as amazing ideas, and when boh of us work together, the theme always comes across greatly!
Thank you to my models Kristy and Haydn.
